Adjustable Thermostat. The adjustable thermostat allows you to dry different foods at proper temperatures (95-155º F), providing the flexibility to produce the best drying results.
Powerful Top Mounted Fan. Top mounted fan and 500 watts of drying power generate maximum speed and quality for dehydrating fruits, vegetables, and jerky. Helps dry food in hours, not days like other food dehydrators.
Expandable FD-61 comes with 4 trays, but is expandable to 12 trays with optional Add-A-Trays®(LT-2GP). Trays are 13 1/2" in diameter.
Vita-Save® Exterior. Opaque Vita-Save® exterior helps block harmful light which destroys nutritional content of food being dehydrated.
Patented Converga-Flow® drying system forces air down the exterior pressurized chamber (not through the trays). The hot air is forced horizontally across each individual tray, converging on the core for fast, even and nutritious drying. No flavor mixing and no need to rotate trays.
Great for dehydrating fruit rollups, banana chips, beef jerky, venison jerky, and other healthy snacks.

I like the product (FD61) but I am very unhappy that you advertise "Made in USA" and then while searching for the serial # on this dehydrator, it is clearly labeled "Made in China" on the power lid. What gives, guys? I try to buy mad in USA products only and I was so happy to find your dehydrators. This is absolutely NOT OK. I will expect a reply and explanation before I buy any more of your products or recommend them.Nesco Response: The FD-61 is labeled Made in the USA of US and Foreign Components and it is. The power lid is the only component of this unit that is not made in the USA. In fact almost all of the remainder of the unit is made in Wisconsin, USA. |
