| I was looking for a kettle to heat water for tea. I wanted a Made in USA item. Nesco was kind enough to direct me to this unit. It is lightweight, simple to use and very fast. A full pot reaches boiling in just a few minutes and partial fills boil very quickly. It is the perfect companion to a Melitta manual drip coffee maker and the tea pots that I have. It is basically impossible to tip over and the spout pours either a fine stream to wet coffee grounds, or a greater amount to soak tea leaves - your choice. With a whistle, it would be declared absolutely perfect. In these days of web surfing while the water heats, it is quite easy to boil much of the water away - so fast does it heat. Very happy with it. |
