Our Snackmaster Express features 500 watts of drying power that generates maximum speed and quality for dehydrating fruits, vegetables, beef jerky, and venison jerky. Helps dry food in hours, not days like ordinary food dehydrators.
Nesco's adjustable thermostat allows you to dry different foods at proper temperatures 95-160 degrees, providing the flexibility to produce the best drying results.
Our top mounted fan prevents liquids from dripping into the heating chamber!
Our Patented Converga-Flow drying system forces air down the exterior pressurized chamber not through the trays. The hot air is forced horizontally across each individual tray, converging on the core for fast, even and nutritious drying. There is no flavor mixing and no need to rotate trays.

• Expandable FD-60 comes with 4 trays, but is expandable to 12 trays with optional Add-A-Trays®. Trays 13 1/2" in diameter.
• Vita-Save® Exterior. Opaque Vita-Save® exterior helps block harmful light which destroys nutritional content of food being dehydrated.

I've owned this model for 6-7 years and have an older FD-25 that I'm still using as well. Years ago I bought 4 extra trays for this one and 2 for the FD-25 so that I could knock out an entire batch of venison jerky at one time. I'm still very pleased with the way these both work and my wife has to stop me from buying more of them just to have backups. No complaints, only praise.
Still working like new after all these years. Keep up the good work Nesco! If I ever wear one of these out... I'll be buying one of the square ones. Might be a while tho. |

I have a FD-60 and it does a great job.. So far, I have only made beef jerky from extra lean hamburger meat (97%/3%). I have family members coming out of the wood work when I make jerky.. It's the main reason I visited the site today, to get more trays..

| I love this product and the jerky spices you sell!!! I make about 50-100lbs of deer jerky a year I have 2 of these dehydrators and I have 7 trays each. I could use 2 more this year so hoping to give hints for xmas. It is the best and last a long time had @ 5yrs now and wouldnt trade it for anything!!!! Out standing product!!!! |

| I purchased this Nesco several years ago. Why Nesco? I love their roasters, and I didn't need some huge dehydrator that would take up a ton of space and be hard to store. I bought mine specifically for drying fruit and fruit leathers to take on business trips. This machine is quiet, has been dead reliable, and I've also dried some vegetables now. I've made a lot of use of the low-stick tray inserts and the 'rollup' inserts. I recently discovered the FD-80 and bought one, because I like the idea of being able to make more in the same basic space. My excellent FD-60 is being passed on to a young couple who need to be making fresh, non-processed snacks for their children. I know they'll love this machine as I have! |

Boy this is some great machine, i lovt it and planning
to get some more of these for my friends, when the want one.
Can you tell me where i can get a spare bottom tray holder for my DF 60 I cracked mine and would like to get a spare one.

Look - I've been using your dehydrators for years and they work well.
But I'm mad at you guys advertizing with big bold letters on both the box and your website that the unit is made in the USA when it clearly is not.
The most important part - the power unit which houses the heating element and blower motor is made in CHINA!
So what did you guys make? WOW - The plastic trays & the box they came in - well that's bull - a big advertizing lie - you should be ashamed of yourselves.

We state on our carton that the product is “Made in U.S.A. of U.S. and foreign components”.
We are keeping jobs in the USA by molding the plastic components, making cartons, literature and our spices in the USA. Only one part of the dehydrator is imported.
Most of our competitors are 100% made in China or another foreign country. |

| I bought a FD-60 Dehydrator a few years ago. I use it to make beef jerky, usually once a month. I could not imagine using any other product. This machine is fantastic and I have recommended it to many friends. I really like the ability to adjust the temperture. I'm finding that the machine works as well today, as the first time I used it. It's a very well made product. The FD-60 comes with four trays. I've found that I need two more, so I plan to purchase them today. Thanks NESCO! |
