Easy & Great Taste Aug. 27, 2012
I purchased the kit from Amazon and am delighted with the ease in making jerky and the great taste. I made Turkey Jerky. I added fresh ground pepper to the original seasoning pack and set it in the fridge over night. The Nesco dehydrator I have worked perfectly at the meat setting for about 10 hours. I rotated the trays from top to bottom about every 2 hours. The jerky had a little oil on the strips, so I patted them with a paper towel before putting them in the fridge.

This pound of jerky cost about $3.50 which beats the store price of $32 per pound.

This is also one of my favorite things to do. Buffalo makes great jerky and it's great to watch friend try the things you make with this kit. Most of them are amazed at the great flavors and the things that you can turn into jerky.
