Slow cooks less tender cuts of meat, too.

| Heating element failed after only 10 uses... |

This product received high reviews and I bought it for my wife as a Christmas gift. She was very excited, but after 10 uses it stopped working. The light would come on, but it would not heat up. Now, we have to consider if we want to purchase this one or another brand. Nesco Response: All of our products come with a full one year warranty.
