Needs the Procelain Cookwell Jan. 30, 2015
I purchased the 6qt with n/s cookwell several years ago. I found this a worthwhile product compared to a different brand I had purchased. The other brand stained immediately and there was absolutely no way I could get the stain off. This Nesco cookwell has held up quite well but now needs to be replaced. It's unfortunate that they do not offer the ceramic or porcelain cookwells any longer. Maybe Nesco should consider bringing them back.

Nesco Non-Stick Cookwell Dec. 1, 2014

I have had my Nesco Roaster for several years. It
came with a non-stick cookwell that comes out of
the roaster. I have never had a difficult time cleaning it because I always spray it with PAM, a non-stick spray first.
When I'm done using it, I simply wash it with liquid
detergent in warm water, and it cleans easily.

Non-stick material not non-stick & peeling Feb. 28, 2014
I have had many 6 quart Nesco roasters. I had porcelain & now I have both porcelain and non-stick. The non-stick is no longer non-stick & impossible to clean, even after soaking it in hot soapy water for days. It is peeling bad & going into my food. I'm concerned about getting cancer from it. Another person wrote that the porcelain also sticks. I have not used my porcelain yet, so I don't know.

Could you design a ceramic interior which would easier to clean? Also it looks like I can no longer order the porcelain cookwell by itself.
