Stuffed Peppers - Jet Stream Oven

4 medium bell peppers
1/2 lb lean ground beef
1/2 lb ground turkey
4 slices dry bread, moistened in water and squeezed dry
1 egg
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp dried parsley flakes
1/4 tsp each - salt, pepper and oregano
1/2 cup tomato sauce
1/4 cup grated Mozzarella cheese

Cut off tops of peppers; remove seeds and membranes. Combine meat, bread, egg, garlic, parsley, salt, pepper, and oregano. Stuff peppers with meat mixture.

Place peppers on inverted rack in preheated Nesco®/American Harvest® Jet Stream Oven® and bake at 400ºF on HIGH fan speed for 15-18 minutes.

Top each pepper with tomato sauce and sprinkle with cheese. Bake for another 1-2 minutes at 400ºF on LOW fan speed.
