Mexican Turkey Pitas - Jet Stream Oven

1 lb ground turkey
1/2 cup red onion, chopped
3 Tbsp salsa
1 tsp dried oregano
1/8 tsp ground cumin
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp freshly ground pepper
6 whole pita breads, warmed
3 cups iceberg lettuce, shredded
1/4 cup nonfat sour cream or plain yogurt
Additional salsa
8 medium tomatoes, cut in wedges

Coat large fry pan with cooking oil. Heat over medium-high heat. Add turkey, breaking up with a fork. Add onion, salsa and spices. Cook until turkey is browned and juices are clear.

To heat pitas, wrap in aluminum foil and place on rack in Nesco®/American Harvest® Jet Stream Oven® at 400º F on LOW fan speed for 3-5 minutes.

To serve, place a whole pita on each serving plate. Top with lettuce, turkey mixture, sour cream and salsa.

Garnish with tomato and olives.
