Pizza Fondue - 4, 5 or 6Qt. Roaster
1 lb lean ground beef
2 green onions, thinly sliced
1/2 tsp Italian Herb Seasoning
2 10½ oz cans Italian pizza Sauce
1/2 cup (2oz) Cheddar Cheese, shredded
1/2 cup (2oz) Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
14 oz pkg tostadas to serve
Preheat Nesco® Roaster Oven to 425º F.
Lightly wipe cookwell with cooking oil. Crumble beef in preheated cookwell. Add onions and seasonings. Cover; cook 8 to 10 minutes or until meat is browned, stirring once. Add pizza sauce; stir to coat meat. Sprinkle on cheeses. Cover; cook 15 to 20 minutes or until cheeses are set and fondue is heated through.
Reduce temperature to 200º F. Serve over heated tostadas, using a long-handled spoon. If fondue cools, cover and reheat at 425º F or until hot and bubbly.
