Chocolate Candy Cane Cake - 12 or 18Qt. Roaster

18¼ oz package chocolate cake mix, any variety
3¼ oz package chocolate instant pudding and pie filling
1/2 cup miniature chocolate chips
18 small candy canes, coarsely crushed (about 1 cup) - divided

Blend above ingredients in a medium bowl. Place in an airtight container for gift-giving.

Include the following directions with above mix:
1 package of above chocolate candy cane cake mix
4 large eggs
8 ounces sour cream
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup water
1 container white chocolate or vanilla icing

Preheat Nesco® Roaster Oven to 350º F.

Lightly grease 9 X 13 pan. In a large bowl, combine cake mix, dry pudding mix, eggs, sour cream, oil and water; beat with electric mixer on low speed just until moistened. Beat on medium speed 2 minutes. Stir in chocolate chips and 2 Tbsp of the crushed candy canes. Spoon batter into pan. Bake according to package directions.

Cool in pan 10 minutes. Frost cake and garnish with remaining crushed candy canes.
