Nesco® Roast-Air® Turkey - 12 or 18Qt Roast Air

One 14 to 22 pound turkey, fresh or frozen (thaw before roasting)

Before air-roasting, preheat 18 Quart Nesco® Roast-Air® Roaster Oven to 450º F with rack removed.

If you have a 12 Quart Nesco®, a 14 pound turkey is the maximum size.

Clean and rinse turkey. Pat dry. Secure wings and legs to body with string to prevent burning. Place turkey on rack. Season with poultry seasoning as desired. Set rack in preheated cookwell. Cover.

Plug in air-fan motor on cover. Air-roast 1 hour. Reduce temperature to 425º F. Determine total length of air-roasting time at 10½ to 12 minutes per pound or until internal temperature of meat reaches 180º F. on meat thermometer in thickest part of thigh muscle.

Let turkey stand 10 minutes before slicing. If turkey is ready before serving time, simply unplug air-fan motor on cover and reduce temperature to 200º F.
