Tourtiere - 4, 5 or 6Qt. Roaster

1 lb ground pork
1/3 cup cold mashed potatoes
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
pastry for 2 crust pie
egg white
1/2 tsp ground cloves
1/4 tsp cinnamon (optional)
1/4 tsp marjoram (optional)
1 cup water

Preheat Nesco® Roaster Oven to 425º F. Combine all
ingredients and simmer 30 minutes in fry pan, stirring as necessary.

Roll out pie shell and line 7" pie dish. Brush with egg white to prevent
soggy crust. Fill with meat mixture. Cover with top crust. Pinch edges and

prick top crust to allow steam to escape. Wrap edge of crust with foil the
first 30 minutes.

Put into roaster on wire rack, cover and bake at 425º F for 50 to 60
minutes or until crust is golden brown.
