Cabbage Soup - 6Qt. Roaster

2 lbs beef stew
1 lb carrots, sliced
6 to 8 stalks celery, sliced
2 large onions, chopped
1 medium size cabbage, shredded
2 quarts stock (beef bouillon cubes and water)
3/4 cup barley

Wipe 6 Quart Nesco® Roaster Oven cookwell with cooking oil after
preheating. Cook meat 20 minutes at 400º F, stirring until cooked thoroughly. Add
stock, carrots, onions, celery, and cabbage. Lower heat to 250º F and let cook
for 2 to 3 hours. Add barley during last half hour.

This is very good and the kitchen smells good too!
