|Chocolate Cherry Pie - Dehydrator
3/4 cup dried cherries
2 cups boiling water
3½ cups chocolate ice cream, softened
3/4 cup miniature semi-sweet chocolate chips
9" chocolate crumb crust
Place cherries that were dried in a Nesco®/American Harvest®
Dehydrator in small bowl; cover with boiling water. Let stand for 5 minutes; drain.
In large bowl, combine ice cream, chocolate chips and cherries. Spread
onto crust. Cover and freeze until firm.
Optional: drizzle with fudge topping and garnish with a maraschino
cherry, if desired.
Yield: 8 servings
