|Nesco® - Quick and Easy Jerky - Dehydrator
|1 pound lean ground beef (ground chuck, ground round, etc.)
1 packet Nesco®/American Harvest® jerky spice *
1 packet Nesco®/American Harvest® jerky cure
Thoroughly mix meat, spice and cure together in a bowl. Form into 1/4" thick strips using the Nesco®/American Harvest® Jerky Works™ gun. Place strips on Nesco®/American Harvest® dehydrator trays and dry at highest temperature setting for 5 to 8 hours, or until done.
This should make about 1/2 pound of jerky when dried. Double the recipe for more jerky. If you like it spicier, add cayenne pepper.
