|Brie in Pastry - Jet Stream Oven
|1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
8 oz round Brie Cheese
1/4 cup strawberry preserves
2 Tbsp sliced almonds
1 egg beaten with 1 tsp water
Roll pastry to a 12" square; cut out a 12" circle. Slice Brie in half horizontally and fill with preserves and almonds. Reassemble and place in center of pastry. Brush pastry edges with egg wash and fold to enclose Brie; press lightly to seal. Place seam side down on inverted rack. If desired, cut small designs out of leftover pastry and attach to top of wrapped Brie with egg wash.
Bake in Nesco®/American Harvest® Jet Stream Oven® at 400º ;F on HIGH fan speed for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
Let stand 15 minutes before slicing.
