|Picnic Beans - Roaster or Slow Cooker
|3/4 lb bacon (about 15 slices)
2 onions, chopped
31 oz pork and beans, drained
16 oz red beans, drained
16 oz dark red kidney beans, drained
17 oz lima beans, drained
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 to 4 Tbsp cider vinegar
1½ cups ketsup
2 Tbsp prepared mustard
4 tsp Worcestershire® Sauce
Cut bacon in 1/2" pieces. Fry bacon until crisp. Remove bacon and drain, leaving drippings. Add onion to drippings. Cook onion until transparent. Remove onions with slotted spoon, leaving drippings.
Combine cooked bacon and onion with all remaining ingredients in Nesco® Roaster Oven. Blend well. Cover and cook at 225ºF for 4 to 6 hours.
