Chicken Curry - Jet Stream Oven
1 lb skinless, boneless chicken breast, cut into 1/4" strips
1½ cups onion, sliced
1 clove garlic, crushed
2 cups milk
3 Tbsp flour
1 Tbsp oil
2 tsp curry powder
1/2 tsp turmeric
8½ oz can pineapple chunks, drained
Condiments: raisins, chutney, shredded coconut
Wipe liner pan of Nesco®/American Harvest® Jet Stream Oven® with cooking oil.
Add chicken, onion, and garlic. Cook in preheated Jet Stream Oven® at 400ºF on HIGH fan speed for 5 minutes.
Combine milk, flour, oil, curry powder and turmeric in jar with tight-fitting lid. Shake jar until ingredients are thoroughly blended. Pour into small saucepan and cook over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil and thickens. Pour sauce over chicken and add pineapple; stir thoroughly.
Place rack over liner pan, turn fan speed on LOW, cook for 2 more minutes.
