Pot Roast Dinner - 12 or 18Qt. Roaster

4 to 6 lb pot roast
1 cup barbecue sauce
8 medium onions
10 to 12 whole small red potatoes, peeled
6 to 8 medium carrots, cut into chunks
1 leek, cleaned, cut into chunks
3 to 4 turnips, peeled, cut into chunks

Preheat Nesco® Roaster Oven to 350º F.

Lightly wipe cookwell with cooking oil. Place meat into preheated cookwell. Spoon half the sauce over heat; arrange vegetables around meat. Cover; roast 10 minutes.

Turn meat over; spoon remaining sauce over meat. Cover; roast 10 to 15 minutes or until meat begins to brown. Reduce temperature to 275º F; roast 1½ to 2 hours (145º ;F to 160º F on meat thermometer).

Serves 8 to 10
